Hehe he helped all of us drag our luggages.
:D Happy that we've been a few places together :D
FirstWorldProblems.
Whatever happened to verbal communication?
hahahha ok la i'm guilty too.
INSTAGRAM'S FAULT LA.
Bali bali here we come!
On L Hotel's coach.
Driver was super efficient.
Gave us cold face towels and cold bottles of water.
So thankful because it's really hot there!!
My sister was the one who booked this place.
L Hotel.
It's a pretty quirky place :D
They served us a chilled Mocktail which was really tasty.
I forgot what exactly went in this drink,
but everyone thought there was green apples in it.
It's a combination of pineapples and vegetables.
So anyway ALL their staff (butler, receptionists, manager EVEN CLEANERS)
are freaking friendly!!!
They were super duper nice.
I would just go anywhere and say hi to anyone and it's not weird at all.
My ma's and sis' room.
Their shower door is transparent lol.
Mom was super happy when she saw that our toilet door is frosted HAHAHAHAHHA.
Initially she had wanted to sleep with Mervyn
(-____-)
Until my sis said why don't we get them two single beds room...
Lol.
This was sent to my clique whatsapp.
HAHA.
Dinner at Seminyak sq.
To be honest, I do not like their local food there.
I think it's the balinese style that I don't really fancy.
The indonesian food in Singapore is way better!
It was freakishly hot.
The sun was beating down and shone through the glass of the boutiques.
It was cray.
Anyway, their stuff there is so ex..
I didn't get myself anything.
Only my sister did cos she's rich HAHAHA.
I can't help but to feel that Bali is all staged out to trick tourists' for our money.
Metis was really gooddd!
My sister said it's 2013 Asia's Top 20 restaurants.
They serve French cuisine here and I think the price is pretty good too!
Each of us spent about 80sing each?
So anyway be prepared to be sweating your butt off here as you wait for dinner to be served.
Waited too long, but I was happy with the food so
OK I WON'T BEAR GRUDGES.
:D
Waited too long so Merv and I walked out and saw this.
Imagine seeing this in the afternoon.
It will be so amazing!
And I never knew water lily pads were so big.
I didn't take pictures of it though because it was a bit too far and dark for my iPhone to capture.
Sorry, but i don't smile in front of the camera.
BAHAHAH no la it's not like I'm a snob or sth.
I really look like a monkey when I smile with teeth..
I don't have ugly teeth although I would love to have braces
because it's so damn cute.
Family~
Refreshing shooters.
Forgot what's in it. :/
Legendary pan seared hot foie gras,
port and raspberry reduction, morel cherry,
roasted apple
We picked out two dishes of foie gras.
I fell in love with this.
I think foie gras should always have something sweet to accompany it!
Pan seared sea scallops,
hot foie gras, pistachio and hazelnut dressing.
This was really good too, but of course I prefer the previous one!
;D
Les Escargots
Roasted mushrooms stuffed with snails and parsley.
This was a little too salty for my liking,
but the rest had no problems with it.
The sauce was good for dipping our bread!
Steamed black Cod with linguini pasta,
leek compote, saffron veloute, creamy spinach
Mom had this!
250gm grilled australian black angus ribeye steak,
garlic and parsley lyonnaise potatoes,
Metis butter sauce.
The 3 of us had this.
Was really goooooood.
I finished it all unlike my sister who gave her's to Merv.
That only made me look like a pig.
(-___-)
In my family,
both my mom and sis are small eaters.
I'm the only one who doesn't know when to stop....
That's why I have to do yoga now or i'll be obese by the time I turn 25.
(T___T)
Every night we get a complimentary of cocktail and snack from L Hotel at their rooftop bar.
They really know how to spoil us.
They must really know I'm a pig hahahaha.
Merv chose their lime crush!
And I got myself a Lychee Martini.
From left to right,
Miso shooter / Dutch pork bitterbals / Vietnamese spring roll and dip.
Yummmm.
And to our surprise,
we were greeted to an elephant before we go to bed.
How sweet of them :D
