I asked you the question about your school sometime back when I went for your interview I didn't make friends, there, they were from fashion design, does that mean I will have difficulty making friends when I go for the orientation? Every school is different, I never faced this problem in my previous school, will people look at how you dress before talking to you? Also I met a fashion design student sometime back I am having the worse nightmare of my life, she told me it is okay if you don't know how to draw during the foundation year they will teach you, is that true? I took art from sec3 onwards I was from St margts. I still can't draw, I traced my drawings for my portfolio work, I am 23 already so getting worried about a certificate, I am hoping you could advice me on what your school is really like? Any advice is deeply appreciated, thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteHihi, i really think you're over thinking about the making friends part. You'll definitely find a friend or two. It's okay. Be a bit more laid back. Just speak when people speak to you. You don't have to be the overactive one! I don't think anyone will look down on how you dress. Everyone is different. I guess just make the effort to dress up a little. You really really shouldn't stress on that. And if you overdo it, you'll probably end up looking like a wannabe. In any case you really don't want to go into that direction. Be yourself! Don't change for other's ok? Yes, do go for orientation. Chit chat a little. Say, "hey, my name's.. what's your's? i'm a bit nervous. :s" i confirm chop she will say she's nervous also lol. but really go with the flow la. you only say that if no one's talking to you yet. Yes, in foundation they will teach you how to draw and you will also learn everything. See which course you like after that and join ok! don't have to be fashion you know! i think it's easy to get a certificate. Just don't slack and make sure you complete your work on time. DON'T WORRY. I was very nervous like you too! hahaha but see??
